OVERVIEW
AHDS case studies offer examples of how a wide range of projects have dealt with different aspects of the creation and management of digital content. Most activities of the e-content lifecycle are represented including the use of XML, rights managment, database creation and management and making choices about material to be digitised.
List of the case studies
Note that although the AHDS is no longer a national service, its host institutions continue a commitment to work together to provide services to the arts and humanties research community through the following:
- Centre for e-Research at King's College London
- Archaeology Data Service at the University of York
- Oxford Text Archive at Oxford University
- History Data Service at the University of Essex
- Performing Arts Data Service at the University of Glasgow
- Visual Arts Data Service at the University for the Creative Arts
Each of these presents a substantial body of content for exploration.
